Summer Camp Programs

VNS offers two summer programs - Summer Fun Camp and Science & Nature Camp. Each session runs three days a week. You are welcome to choose any or week or weeks with the operation of each session dependent on a minimum enrollment. Acceptance will be on a first come first serve basis.

Summer Fun Camp is for children 2.9 to 7 years old. The day begins at 9:00, will include lunchtime (lunch provided from home) and dismisses at 1:00. The program makes full use of the VNS equipment and grounds and will include summertime projects, sprinkler play, story-time, and group games. This program is an ideal opportunity for children to make new friends and introduce new students to VNS in a most relaxed atmosphere.

Science and Nature Camp is available for children 4 to 6 years old and can be added onto the Summer Fun Camp day or be selected alone. The hours will be from 1:00-2:30 and the program is led by kindergarten teachers. The campers will be reading, investigating the nature trail, carrying out experiments, and creating fun projects.

All graduating and incoming VNS students are welcome to enroll as well as siblings meeting the age requirements for camp. If there is remaining space after mid-May children from the community will be accepted.
